The seventh member of Zingerman’s Community of Businesses, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Roadhouse opened in 2003 with the vision of bringing really good American food to the community. The Roadhouse has worked hard to create its own truly unique food culture, transforming high-quality ingredients into traditional, full-flavored dishes after years of studying American foodways.

With chef Bob Bennett at the helm of the kitchen, and our James Beard Award nominated staff’s dedication to great service, the Roadhouse draws in regulars from all over. We welcome our fans from right down the block or from all over the country. Excellent service. Food was delicious. They were happy to modify they made one of the dishes to meet our preferences and it still was wonderful. Wonderful for a birthday dinner.

Food and service were great. Loved Amanda AND her recommendations. Oysters were super fresh and perfect. Everyone at our table of 4 commented on the generous portions.

Great food and service. It was our first visit and our server Laura F was super friendly and helped us out with some great recommendations! Ended up going with the fried chicken and a Mac and cheese dish, both were excellent. We will definitely be back next time we are in AA to try some of the other things as it was so hard to choose!

Burnt ribs. Who serves burnt ribs? Veg soup was alright but bland. Won’t order spinach salad. Very small portion on gelato and expensive. Disappointed again. Nothing ever changed.

Friday nite visit. Very busy. Had a reservation. Seated promptly. Staff was very courteous. Our sever Tracy was excellent. My corn chowder and small salad were very good. Noise level was high but that was to expected. Pricey but that was also expected. All in all an enjoyable experience.
