   Food was absolutely superb. Service was not what I expect for a fine dining restaurant. It wasn’t awful but just seemed a little unresponsive - it felt as if the wait staff were really trying but there were too few of them for the number of tables they had to cover. I would still recommend the restaurant because the food was spectacular and delicious. We had a shrimp dish which was absolutely unforgettable, just out of this world delicious.

   Great food and service. We dined outside and the heaters kept us very comfortable.

   Arrived on time for reservation and informed that it will be a 15-20 minute wait. There were people EVERYWHERE! Once seated, we ordered the tasting menu and none of the warm dishes were served at the proper temperature. The only serving grace was the nice wait staff. I'm a huge fan of all things Chef Andres. This one however; I will not return to.

   Maybe the best outdoor seating experience in DC. Fantastic ambiance, minimal noise, and heat lamps galore. Will be back!

   There was a very good variety of items to choose from and everything was very well prepared. Service was very attentive.

   We’ve been dining at Zaytinya since it opened. One of the most consistent restaurants I’ve ever experienced.

   Sit outside!!! Inside is ver noisy. We had Spanish speaker servers (I speak Spanish) and they were incredibly hospitable and nice.

    Thanks to retirement and COVID, I had not been to Zaytinya for several years — but it was as excellent as I remembered, and I was happy to see old favorites still on the menu. The person at the reception desk may have noticed my hearing aids, as I was asked whether I wanted a table in a quieter part of the restaurant (unexpected and appreciated); my lunch companion and I (both in our 70s) were able to converse easily. I’ll be back!
