   I am visiting Annapolis for work and have long wanted to try Yellowfin. So I made a reservation at Yellowfin via Open Table - but when I went to the restaurant, it was closed up tight- no staff, no patrons, no food. I tried calling, but no one answered. I tried contacting Open Table, but the “bot” didn’t understand my query. Terrible experience. Won’t try again and will think before using Open Table again (which I have used for years, but now do not trust).

   My longtime friend meet at Yellowfin since it’s a midpoint from either of our houses. It being located by the water is just a cherry on top.

   Eric our server was all good energy, nothing but positive from that perspective. Accepted my 8pm reservation and told me the kitchen closes at 8:15. Definitely felt rushed but that’s my fault for not checking the closing time I suppose. Food was pretty decent

   There were several large groups of patrons and we (2) were seated at a table right in the middle of them. It was so noisy we couldn’t carry on a conversation. The food was good, with a few exceptions, and it was pricey. The tuna tartare appetizer with avocado and seaweed was refreshing; the tempura shrimp roll appetizer my companion ordered was tasty but heavy and big enough to be a meal. My sea bass was tender but covered in a heavy sauce that hid the taste of the fish. I scraped it off and if I would go again, I’d ask them to hold the sauce. The “seafood risotto” had way too much cheese in it and arrived on the plate in a congealed scoop more reminiscent of a cafeteria than fine dining. As this was my first time eating here after a long break, I’m willing to give it another try—not on a Saturday night.

   Food and service was good. But, the restaurant was a little cold due to freezing temperatures outside.

   Overall not bad Drinks-7 Food-7 cream of crab soup was tasty Service -8 waiter was courteous I'd go back for dinner, might try brunch soon

   We had a wonderful server, Carlos. He was attentive and made great recommendations. This is always our favorite date night spot, we will definitely be back! The seasonal seafood sampler was delicious with lots of yummy options. I also appreciate that the wine list and bottles are wine are reasonably priced.

    Went with a party of 12 and they were amazing!! The food was good and loved the cider margarita.
