Chef/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood opened Vine Street Cafe in 2003. Located on South Ferry Road, just 1.5 miles from the South Ferry. Chef Terry works with area farmers, fishermen & vineyards and features their natural bounty on his seasonal menus. We make everything in house and Lisa's desserts, ice creams and fruit crisps are no exception. Recently, we opened a small market behind the restaurant. This is where you pick up take-out orders while stocking your home pantry. Specialty catering is available along with ready fresh meals such as meatballs, chicken salad, bread, smoked ribs, BBQ Sauce and a selection of artisan pastas. Reservations are highly recommended year round.

We decided to try Vine Street Cafe for Easter Brunch. We usually go for dinner, but thought this would be a change of pace. It was a very nice Brunch. The food was fantastic as always.

Fabulous evening. Attentive service, great food & cozy ambience. The only complaint was that the heat was on too high ! ( we were sitting by the wall and the baseboard heat was intense).

Starters ok a little too saucy, then we ordered fried chicken. Thinking good pieces of fried chicken. What came was a piece of breast like Milanese, pounded flat, I think fried but with so much sauce couldn't taste it. Really disappointing, we live close but will pass this restaurant for along time. And service was nothing more than average at best.
