   We love the Village Anchor and the food, atmosphere & the employees! The brunch is always delicious and on point! It’s our favorite place to go on the weekends!

   Appetizer and entrees were cold. Salads contained mostly wilted lettuce. This is on par for our last two visits to this establishment. Owners should be embarrassed.

   We sat in the bar area next to the ice machine. Workers rattled the ice and dumped into a bucket so loud we couldn't talk. This happened for 3 rounds before we left. Food was sub par. Overall disappointed for our first visit. Probably will not return.

   This is the second time we’ve tried with an open mind. The food came out extremely slow and not one of us really liked it. My pork chop was good enough but not for the price. With two very underwhelming experiences I just can’t recommend or go back especially for $183 for 2 kids and 2 adults, no alcohol or dessert. Maybe you’ll have better luck.

    This is one of my faves in Louisville and I had out if town guests that I was entertaining. Ambiance was, as always, lovely. Service (Melissa) was great. Food, unfortunately, was sub-par. Won tons were gummy/chewy and cold, not fresh & crunchy. There was ribbon of paper in my guests risotto (salmon entree). Goat cheese salad had no dressing. And banana pudding was all meringue and no filling. We had a good time but I was very disappointed as I had raved about the restaurant.
