   Very good food but our waiter forgot to bring my wife’s glass of wine with her entree as she requested so we reminded him when he came by to check on us THEN He FORGOT AGAIN and didn’t come back around so we finally had to flag down someone else who went and told him (now for the third time) and by the time she got it we were done and ready to order dessert. Fortunately Savannah, like New Orleans, let’s you carry alcohol on the streets if it’s in a plastic container so she got her nice Camus wine in a plastic cup and she didn’t get to enjoy it with her dinner.

   We sat outside and it was a beautiful night. It was noisy and very busy inside. Loved our meal!

   Beautiful dining room, great table near the windows with river view. Lump crab cakes were the best I’ve had. Loved the wedge salad too, best with the vinaigrette dressing.

   We had a nice meal of fried chicken and pork chops. Our table by the window was great as we were able to see the river boats. The chicken was a little dry, but the pork chop was delicious. Overall it was a nice meal, but nothing fancy or special.

   Aaron took care of us this evening…he was a pro and helped us with food and drink selections. Food was delicious. The only down side was that we were placed in a small area in the back of the resturant which which was also hosting a large table of very happy diners. This made conversation next to impossible. Requests to be reseated were not honored Due to high level of bookings.

    I’m quite surprised this place has a good reputation. It’s clearly a churn and burn sort of place, feeding 100’s of diners each night. Our oysters arrived lukewarm….twice. The shrimp was lackluster. The French onion soup had a huge glop of cheese in it that was not exactly delightful. However, the pecan grouper, when it finally arrived, was delicious.
