   Live performance was great and ambiance is suitable for dates, special occasion, anniversaries etc. I love the seared scallops and the crabcake.

   Food was excellent. Ordered the seafood sampler, tomato mozz stack, lobster bisque for apps. All were delicious. Had scallops, sea bass and filet for dinner. We each tried each others and could not decide whose we liked best - all were delicious. Ordered chocolate cake for dessert - it too was amazing but we were too full to finish it. Had several different cocktails that we enjoyed. Waitrress made recommendations on ordering and she was very helpful! There was live music that was too loud but we moved to a quieter table which was better. If the live music volume was toned down this restaurant would be perfect. I am definitely still going back though - music volume did not deter me from going back and trying the other dishes!

   Vesper is just OK. Our server was great, the bread was great, the drinks were ok and the meal was blah. I got the pork chop and my girlfriend got the steak. When our meals came out, we both noticed our protein was covered in sauce. Sauce is a telltale sign of a blah meal. I accepted the waiter's suggestion on the preparation of the pork chop but I found the chop cooked to near dryness. My girlfriend loves steak and she thought the steak was a cheap cut of meat. My biggest complaint about the food is that for the price, the meal did not give us an memorable flavors. Nothing we ate made us want to come back. The food wasn't bad, it just was not great. I spent over $150 for a decent meal and I expect more than that. This restaurant is respectable but they need to work on creating meals with flavors that make people want to come back.

   The staff was very accommodating of our group of 8. We had some bad luck getting to the restaurant and although we missed out on our table, they were able to seat us without much inconvenience. We sincerely apologize for our tardiness and are thankful everything still went smoothly. We will definitely be back to thank you.

   Great. Go here all the time before ballet. Quiet which is such a luxury EXCEPT when the live music starts! Would be nice to close off dining room to that and have it more for bar crowd. Other than that we love it.

   I had a wonderful dinner .The live music had an outstanding singer & a good band backing the Singer.The ambiance of the Vesper restaurant is truly unique .The service couldn't have been better. I look forward to returning in the very near future. LouisL

   If you're looking for the best steak in town, it's not here. However, their menu is reasonably diverse and there are some solid choices, notably fish and fowl. Their steaks were surprisingly tough and while cooked appropriately, the seasoning on the crust was very salty. It's an odd place with great cocktails, a limited wine list a live singer crooning Sinatra's greatest hits as he strolled through the restaurant. All in all, Vespers took me back to a time before I was born. And maybe that's the point.

    Waiter was excellent! Very attentive! Entrees were excellent. Crab appetizer was a little pricey for the small amount given but the entrees were definitely worth the price! Singer was fun. Host was very friendly. Really great experience! Don't listen to the bad reviews.
