   We were able to get seated at the bar for drinks before our reservation time and enjoyed the bit of theater that is the entry process, a good jazz band, great beverages, and attentive service. Once seated at our table, we enjoyed Calvin Appleberry playing standards nearby. I had the best prime rib I've ever had, and my wife's ribeye was superb. I was cautiously optimistic about the crab cakes so far inland, but they were superior to many I've eaten much closer to Maryland. Our server and the rest of the staff were wonderful. This was a special night celebrating a big win in our family. Thanks for a wonderfully memorable night, Vernon's!

   I found Vernon’s Speakeasy authentic; I felt like I stepped back in time. Extremely professional staff; knowledgeable, attentive to all your personal needs; our table server became our personal server for the duration of our dining experiences; he provided cooking information plus menu items recommendations in order to met your personal needs. What an exciting dining experience where the food was delicious and prepared to our specifications.

   I really enjoyed my New Year’s Eve dinner. Great band. However, I’m not sure I will do that again. Very expensive especially if you want to have wine with the meal. Think a glass or bottle of wine included would totally be worth the price.

   Great food and service. We were placed in a newer section and the decor was strange. More reminiscent of Alice in wonderland than a speakeasy. The bathrooms were pretty shabby for an upscale restaurant/ lounge. Peeling caulking, loose faucets and cheap decor. I know a traditional speakeasy wasn't fancy but a high end eating establishment should be.

   We went to Vernon’s on New Years Eve, I Was not aware I signed up for their”EXPERIENCE “ but New Years Eve is special so I decided to embrace it. At $175.00 per person you would think you would be getting an exceptional meal. It was mediocre at best. I ordered a rib eye, started eating it and turned out to be a filet. Asked the waiter about it and yes it should have been a ribeye. I was not asked how they could make it right, only an apology saying I feel bad about the mishap. We left Vernon’s spending $465.00 for Two of us. That won’t happen again if you know what I mean

   Vernon’s is our top go to date spot, the ambiance is always perfect drinks were delicious as always! I probably wouldn’t go again for a fixed menu night but that’s my own preference. Overall, amazing as always

   Great steaks! Duck Tacos were also outstanding. Keyboard player (Carl?) was the best I've heard in decades!
