   Underhill Crossing is truly a gem. The service is superlative, as is the food. Going to this restaurant makes you feel like you rolled back time to the elegance of yesteryear.

   Service was mediocre. We were literally ignored for 20 minutes at end of meal waiting to ask for the check. 4 waiters and host walked past the table multiple times without checking in.

   Food was excellent: escargot, bleu cheese-stuffed figs, branzino, scallops, and veal milanese all outstanding. Wine options were great too. It was simply way too loud for dinner on a Friday night, and they threw a piano player on top of the din (he was good but added to the noise). Our servers seemed to be overwhelmed. They were not attentive at all, got my drink order wrong, had to order the same glass of wine twice, and ended up asking another server just to get a check. Given how pricey the place was, I would have expected better service and a dinner ambience, not a fend -for-yourself bar-like vibe.

   We love Underhill's Crossing! The only minor complaint was that the noise level was a little loud because of noisy guests behind us. But the piano helped. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. A beautiful restaurant. Wish we had one like it in Larchmont!

   The best service and cuisine in Bronxville and the surrounding area! I highly recommend for those who have never enjoyed the Underhills experience. Additionally, the piano professional is amazing. Cheers

    I enjoy a high-energy restaurant, but I couldn’t hear my dining companions. There are no sound buffering elements, and the hard surfaces reflect sound to a distracting degree. Our salmon and burgers were delicious, but the branzino was served over white rice with no vegetables. For an upscale restaurant, this was a disappointment.
