Housed in Wequassett Resort's Eben Ryder House, an 18th-century sea captain’s home, twenty-eight Atlantic is one of the most stunning settings to dine in New England. We visited 28 Atlantic this past weekend to celebrate our 62 wedding anniversary and also two birthdays in our 6-member party. This was our forth trip to 28 Atlantic for a dinner. Our waitress this time was Ellie and she was excellent. Full of info and smiles and on top of everything. With the new menus available now we had one member on the 7-course tasting, three people took the 4-course plan, and my wife and I on the two-course plan. It wasn't cheap; but we all really enjoyed the meals. The majority of our group had a Waygu entree and the Lobster Carborara. We had our favorite table looking out at Pleasant Bay which is beautiful. There were little extra treats from the chef to celebrate our anniversary which is a common and nice gesture at this restaurant. We will certainly come back again in the future.

The food was creatively presented, and delicious. The service was terrific. The views over Pleasant Bay, and the curiosity of watching the fog roll in, were appealing sidebars. The noise level was surprisingly high, and detracted a little from the overall experience. Otherwise, we'd recommend it for any special occasion.
