   Everything was great except the prices. It is not that expensive in Pasadena or Beverly Hills.

   Unfortunately the food was not hot when served. Heating was done for one customer and food was still not hot enough. We feel this is Claremont's finest restaurant. We hope improvements can be made. It may be because they don't usually serve lunch

   Lunch was just available for the holiday week. I wish they had lunch service on a regular basis

   Service was excellent but food was not that great. I really wanted to like it more but it just wasn’t as enjoyable as I hoped. The staff was incredible but the food was just mediocre, especially for that price. I love food so I tried a little of everything. Brussel sprouts were a good shareable portion but it was tasteless. I got the rib eye medium - kind of chewy and seasoning was not so great. Had the beet salad - wish there was more toppings bc it was a good portion or spinach and arugula but about a pinch of prosciutto and pistachio was sprinkled on top. That was terrible. Moscato wine was good. DIY bruschetta was worth trying bc the toasted bread was good. I really wanted to like this place because it’s local but for a nice fancy restaurant it was also disappointing that we ordered all that food and everything was a la carte and still had to pay $8 for the plain bread. Makes the customer feel like we have to pay for every little thing.

   Been enjoying this restaurant for about 20 yrs now. They have spent some time refreshing the restaurant and it looks great. Wish it had a larger bar because there are never empty seats for two when me and my best friend dine there. Tonight night was no different on that front. We had our cocktails at our table and enjoyed wine with our meal. Mix on the cocktails was divine! The food was spectacular as usual. You should always try one of their homemade pasta and sauce dishes. We did parpadelle and lasagna. Delicious and two of their staples. We also had some of their fresh baked bread and dipping sauces and split a perfectly dressed tutti salad. We have tried many of their dishes - steaks, fish, vegetarian options. All to date have been spectacular. When we come to Claremont, it is our favorite treat! Tonight we had the added bonus of the tree lighting festivities and you definitely get a good view from many seats in the place as well as a great view as you enter and exit. Makes for a lovely backdrop photo as you exit.

   Always wonderful! We’re here maybe once a quarter since COVID, but still recognized and treated as regulars. The vibe and energy here is unparalleled. The food is exquisite. Don’t miss the specials. Kathy is a GEM! We instantly connected with her years ago and she always leads us to the best food and beverage choices. Everyone from hosts, wait staff, bussers and bar staff are so caring and professional! Love, love, love!

    This is one of the better restaurants in Claremont. Food was excellent. It was a bit loud in the restaurant
