A piece of Ireland in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Tir na nOg offers the warmth of an Irish pub with a new American menu. The bar boasts 22 draft beers from Ireland, Belgium, England and American craft breweries. A small but concise wine list has something for all palates and our extensive Scotch and Irish Whisky list provides a perfect ending to your meal. Service is friendly, efficient and unobtrusive with a few Irish employees always willing to tell a story.
Please note that open table reservations are for dining only. While we have bar tables tables available for drinks and bar food we do not accept open table reservations for just drinks.

I loved it all. The sushi style tuna nachos and Blackened fish tacos were delish. I enjoyed the calamari, too. The I’m going back.

Everything was great until we were ready to leave and someone bumped into a waiter and spilt red wine all over my pants and shoes. The waiter didn't acknowledge he spilt it on me and the management came over to our table and asked if we spilt the mess. Very unprofessional by both. I was a mess with no apology.

I had been to another Tir na nOg location, but until I found it on Open Table, I had never even noticed that there was one right across the street from Madison Square Garden. The location couldn't have been more convenient for our pre-Billy Joel dinner. The food was good, and the server was friendly and efficient (although overextended). The noise level was extremely HIGH, but the staff told us it's always that way on the night of Billy Joel's performances. It's a great spot!

Went for Friday lunch to catch up with old friends. They enjoyed the shepherds pie and my turkey sandwich was fine. The beer list is outstanding and the Guinness blonde was a revelation. We were not rushed and the server was very accommodating. We will be back

Restaurant has moved and been renovated. I love the new vibe and decor, but the feeling of an "Irish Pub" is no longer in the equation. Food was very good, service was quick and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend highly before an event at MSG.
