   The food is locally grown and very creative. The weight staff is involved and interested! My entire dinner was lovely from beginning to end

   This was our third time dining at The Whitney House but we likely won't be back. The two prior times were pre-Covid and it was a good place overall. This time, everything was just mediocre at best. Our server was very sweet and nice but inexperienced. She didn't work efficiently and consequently, wait times for us and other diners were unnecessarily long. She didn't know that Hendrick's is a gin and wasn't familiar with any wines on the menu. It took awhile to get them and we would've ordered a second round of drinks had she come back to our table at any time to check on us while we ate! (The place was not crowded, there were empty tables.) My husband's seafood pasta was so-so, pretty tasteless and my gnocchi were mushy. Portions were generous, though. The salmon pate starter was good and made us wonder if we should've just ordered starters like the table next to us did. The noise level in there is ok, can get a bit loud at times but if everything else was great, that isn't a big deal. When you enter the restaurant, the area is really cramped. We happened to walk in at the same time as a few other parties and the hostess wasn't there. When she showed up a few minutes later, we were all pushed together and she was visibly confused as to who had come in first (it was impossible to tell). However, she oddly went to the couple closest to the door behind the rest of us and addressed them first. They graciously told her that the couples in front of them were there first! For the price, service, and quality of food, it just wasn't worth it to us.

   I was actually very impressed with the service and taste of the food! I will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu. P.S. The chef’s special, snapper entrée, was AMAZING! 🤩

   The food was amazing! I highly recommend the rubbed strip steak or the stack burger. My husband and I have been ranting and raving over the overall experience and good quality of food all day to our family and friends. It made our celebration extra sweet, as we celebrated our 7th year anniversary at the Whitney House!

   Had a nice evening with family member. Our food was delicious. In fact, the Walleye was outstanding!! Our server (Kendall - I believe) was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was attentive, yet not intrusive during our dining experience. Hope to return soon for another wonderful meal.

   Interesting menu. Something for everyone. The Brussels were awesome. Big portions. Good wine list.

   We were looking forward to dining at the Whitney House. 5:30 reservations. Can we take advantage of your Happy Hour? No. That’s only available in the “Tavern”. Most other restaurants would make the exception. Over priced cocktails. Presentation of our sandwiches poor. Sandwich on a plate next to a pile of unseasoned potato chips. Not even a slice of pickle or tomato!

   The food was reasonably priced and the service was good. The menu was limited compared to other restaurants of similar size and types. However, the noise level in the dining room was too loud to have a discussion with my wife. We went to The Whitney House for our anniversary dinner and were not able to have a normal conversation. Disappointing.

   We very much enjoy our visits to The Whitney House. The most recent visit included the Sunday Supper which was very good and the Bean Bowl - something different but tasty. The Whitney Paloma is always a good choice.

    I was followed to my table by a server who proceeded to tell me not to use the employee bathroom again. Clearly I had no idea, directions were confusing, it was embarrassing, server was a witch. Also portions are awfully small, you’ll leave hungry. Plus the food isn’t seasoned well, you’ll need salt and pepper!
