   Gorgeous fish dishes served on a sunny day in the conservatory looking out to sea. Service was wonderful. Simply fabulous.

   Extremely disappointing from the time we arrived. Waited twenty minutes for order to be taken. Then a waiter arrived with two glasses of Prosecco that we hadn’t ordered. His response was well it’s on your bill. Three of the starters finally arrived after an hour. After another ten minutes I got up and went to the desk to see where the other one was. Yet another twenty minutes passed so had to approach another member of staff who said he’d chase it up then after another quarter of an hour it finally arrived. Clearly as it was meant to be a birthday celebration everyone was completely fed up. The mains arrived we have now been there over two hours and the restaurant was quiet by now. The sea trout at £26.50 was extremely underwhelming. Although the other three meals alright. After being there for three hours none of the party were interested in even looking at the dessert menu. Avoid this place!

   Lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Food let it down. One potato on roast dinner plate ! Did provide more but tasted as if they’d been siting under a heater for hours not enough other vegetables Would not go for roast again. Maybe as was late in the afternoon but for the price disappointing

   Staff are not fully attentive however, food is great. Not the hottest of meals. Think it was the gravy on a Sunday roast. Starting to get scruffy in the main restaurant. Could do with upgrading the entrance to the restaurant to make it feel more upmarket which the food portrays.

   Extremely poor quality .. very very surprised Was like a 1 star seaside town hotel buffet Sunday lunch Obviously not cooked fresh Roast potatoes Luke warm soft .. which were black in colour ( black colour due to potatoes being pre cooked and left out .. they can go black … ) Probably pre cooked days ago left out so they go black then half roasted And put in a ban Marie so they go soggy you all know what I mean have never seen such over cooked flavourless veg ever Beef overcooked again probably left in a Bain Marie … Quite incredible really .. they did only charge for one meal !!! (There were two of us) But really surprised as the food / quality used to be good .. it’s got bigger .. so quality goes So sad .. won’t be back Wished I could take a Sunday roast from the Brisley bell and show the White Horse what a real quality meal is freshly cooked quality produce .. attention to detail have eaten at Brisley bell for over 7 yrs and their standards are incredible … May be your chef should take a trip there and see how to do it .. Gravy tasteless like it might be Bisto !!! Probably the worst I have had here in North Norfolk …they did bring us another plate of roasties …burnt / still black inside when you cut into them …semi warm potatoes all soggy you all know what I mean and asked if that was better !!! Incredible really clearly staff don’t look at what they are serving

   This was a special birthday meal for one of our friends. The restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the marshes. The service was excellent and the food cooked to perfection. I had requested a cake and it was a beautiful work of art. Thanks to the chef who made the birthday celebration so special.
