Biddenden in Kent is home to a small, family-run restaurant. Housed in a 15th Century weaver's cottage, The West House Restaurant is one of only a few restaurants in Kent to hold a Michelin star.

I don't know where to start to describe such a fabulous evening. 100% my fault for not reading the online menu properly, there is a set menu each service. The maitre'd took it completely in his stride when I announced I'ma pescatarian...clearly the kitchen did too. The food was so tasty, heavenly, divine. We went for the matching wine flight, bingo, great wines that went so well with the food. Great music all evening, friendly staff with great senses of humour. Best meal for quite a while. We'll be back.

Graham and the team smashed it again. The risotto was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. Great wine pairing and amazing espresso martini. Thank you for an amazing evening.

My wife and I have dined at The West House many times before, the food, the ambiance and especially the service are top notch and we shall continue to visit. Highly recommended

A lovely Sunday lunch with plenty of space between tables. The table service was excellent …delivered in a calm confident manner without fuss. The food was beautifully prepared and every course was delightful.

We’ve been coming to the West House for many years. It never disappoints. Relaxed atmosphere, super friendly and effective service and the food is always amazing. Really enjoyed the taster menu.
