   We had an outstanding experience, the bartenders and hostesses were fabulous. It was a lovely Easter brunch menu, and very good vibes. Happy Easter!

   The place was packed!! And noisy at 1:00 but it calmed down by 1:30. Our reservation was not ready when we arrived, but then we wanted to wait for a table on the patio so we enjoyed a drink at the bar. Great bloodymary!! The patio was lovely and quiet. It was nice to watch people streaming by outside in their Easter best. I ordered the “fritter” appetizer. I didn’t like it. It just tasted like filling. My husband ordered the hush puppies and there were 6 of them and they were huge! Nice sauce with them. Overall a good experience. I’d go again with a reservation for the patio.

   The staff at Southern Gentleman are all incredible. Chris and Ian are some of the best bartenders in Atlanta, Michaela and Chris are incredible managers, and Shannon has to be the best waitress in the world.

   This is my second time at The Southern Gentleman, and it wasn't as great as I remembered. We we sat ~25 minutes after our reservation time, which ultimately impacted our free 2-hr parking validation. The server was great, but the food was just good. The entree portions were very small, as if it were a tasting. My other guests expressed similar sentiments, as we were still a bit hungry as we left the restaurant. The mashed potatoes were salty, and my other guest's sweet potatoes were too sweet. I believe the food would have still had a great flavor profile without the excess salt and sugar added. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. But there were just a couple of things worth noting.

   Cliff, our server, was great and attentive. We went for my dad’s birthday, it was everyone’s first time, & we were not disappointed. All the food was extremely delicious, we all got four different dishes. We’ll be back for sure.

   Great experience with our waitress Luba and Chris the GM. Outstanding food and even better people. Listen to their recommendations to pair spirits with the meal. You won’t regret it!!!
