Went for the brunch. The food is always great but the buffet was a bust. The value, $35, is great but the buffet was always at least 50% out of items. Even check both buffets. Constantly out of biscuits, chicken, salmon, pork, etc. Had to settle for what was there and hope something else would show up on my seconds, which it didn’t because it was scooped up again.

It was Easter Sunday and they were not prepared. They kept running out of food and clean plates for the buffet. The buffet was too simple. They had no fresh fruit. They should have done better!

It’s been quite a while since my last visit, but The Salty Sow seemed like the perfect place to begin the evening’s celebration of a friend’s birthday month. We shared Truffle Deviled Eggs, a roasted beet salad, smoked pork, and Bananas Foster Beignets. All were delicious, and the service was excellent. A great beginning to a delightful evening.
