Today, it is a redesigned space that boasts exposed wood beams, elegant chandeliers, and exceptional cuisine. Both spaces are located on opposite sides of the property, ensuring exclusive use of the facility. Nestled on these 10 acres are overnight accommodations as well. The Grand Ballroom- With the feel of a country farmhouse paired with modern flair, the breathtaking 30' windows and matching stone fireplace play perfectly in concert with the glimmer and glow of our chandeliers. The Coach House- Our refurbished 200-year-old barn is nothing short of magnificent for your next event. We had a 645 reservation for the Ryland Inn on NYE. It's a lovely venue and it looked very inviting for the holidays. We were greeted and seated promptly. We sat for about 15 minutes with no waiter coming over and no one saying anything and empty water glasses. Finally someone noticed and we were brought water but still did not have a waiter for another 10 minutes. We understand its a busy night but this really was not acceptable especially for the cost. Once we ordered the food was brought out efficiently. Our waitress was just ok, we just expected a little more in such a nice place. The food was very good overall as well as the cocktails.

This new version of Ryland is nothing like the old one. You can skip this. Bad food and even worse service. A total disservice to a great venue and what was once a great restaurant.

I absolutely love the Ryland Inn. The food is amazing and the ambiance is perfect. We came back to celebrate our anniversary since we got married here and every time I come, it’s amazing. Sooo happy the restaurant is back open.

Restaurant is still beautiful, but it is seriously underheated. We requested they turn up the heat and they said they did, but it was still like a refrigerator with a draft (I'm sure the high ceilings don't help but,....). Only the bathrooms were adequately heated. Except for made to order eggs, the Brunch food was room temperature or cold, including the carving station and French toast. Ham, shrimp, salmon were cold, overcooked, and surprisingly tasteless. If you want to serve buffet, you need to figure out how to keep the food warm but not dried out, especially in the winter. Many of the items listed on their website were not available on the buffet. Service was good, but unfortunately I don't see going back to do this again.

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Ryland Inn. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm but we weren’t seated until almost 8. The server did bring us complimentary champagne (not sure if it was for our anniversary or for making us wait almost half an hour for our table). We placed our orders right away (for the appetizers as well as the entrees) but our appetizers didn’t arrive until almost 9, and the Oysters Rockefeller had gone cold. Our entrees arrived close to 10 and were just average. The desserts were amazing and almost made up for the rest of the disastrous experience. It wasn’t our server’s fault though, for the extremely slow service. There was a wedding going on and the restaurant seemed to be seriously understaffed. It wasn’t a good experience however and I don’t think we’ll be going there again.

The food and service are very good. The “tavern” has a generic feel. Not a lot of ambiance. It’s holiday season, and I expected a festive vibe. The noise level was so loud that I couldn’t hear the person across the table from me. We were a party of four and I’m in my 40s!!
