   Always a pleasure. The ambience of the peristyle is unmatched — as was the service (Emma). And the table (for 6) was bussed immediately as plates emptied. Well worth the 90-min. drive from Rochester. As always, we look forward to our return.

   Have dined at Roycroft previously; however, this is the first time for the Sunday Brunch. Excellent variety/selection of food items. Service was outstanding. Personable, efficient staff.

   Every time we visit we have an incredible time. The service is always top notch and the campus is so pretty. David made sure all of our needs were met every step of the way. We will be back soon Thanks David!!!!

   Had a 7:15 reservation for 4 guests (3 senior citizens) on the peristyle for a Friday evening. Weather was perfect and we arrived on time. While I was parking the vehicle, my party of seniors attempted to check in with our reservation and were told that only a huge 8 top table was available for them. So odd. I arrived and spoke to both hostesses who could not communicate how or why our reservation for 4 was not going to be honored. I explained the diners were in their 90’s and needed to be seated at a four top, as we’d reserved. Young women simply did not care, told us to take the big huge table as “this is the only place we can put you!” I tried to explain that nobody would even be able to converse. This was funny. Asked to speak to manager and David actually bothered to find the said reservation, apologized and seated us. We were happy to be seated at 7:40, but things continued off track. We were asked to order entrees before our cocktails even arrived because bar “was backed up 20-30 minutes” ~ ? We obliged although that seemed so interesting given we only ordered 3 glasses of house wine. Kitchen itself did not seem to be backed up, as our food arrived promptly, yet cold. Congealed whipped potatoes had turned to glue. We finally started to eat because nobody ever checked back after our plates were set down and it was after 8. We decided to order our desserts to go, yet they were equally disappointing, incredibly minute portions smashed into cardboard packages. Overall this was simply not the dinner one would expect for almost three hundred dollars. Live and learn ~ communication at the front of the house needs improvement for sure.

   Nothing beats Burgers and Brew night at The Roycroft on the peristyle to bring back memories for visiting family and friends. The food was perfect, drinks were prepared professionally, wait staff was very congenial and working hard although they needed more help. I wish they had this type of an informal special option daily.

   The brunch is sure to please just about everyone. All the offerings we tried were very good, especially the Prime Rib.

   Ordered the short ribs and was very disappointed. Half of it was fat. I always order the filet but thot I’d try something different. BIG mistake for only $5 more the filet would’ve been better

    This is the first time that I had to send my food and cocktail back. My ribeye was absolutely non-edible - extremely tough, extra fatty (so you can't eat it). I had to "saw" through the meat which I after eating not even a quarter of it sent it back. The 2nd cocktail - did not add the simple syrup. If our waiter would have come back to our table to ask us how are food was, this could have been fixed. He did not come back until after I sent my steak and cocktail back. The desert - OMG - a "sliver" of the chocolate cake. Unbelievably small. I was really taken aback as I have been to your restaurant many times and was shocked by the food and service. Yes, I will come back as I still love your restaurant, but I am hesitant to ever order another steak.
