Del equipo detrás de el Blackbird and Avec traemos este homenaje a la cerveza, la carne de cerdo y pescado. El chef ejecutivo Paul Kahan y el Chef de Cuisine, Cosmo Goss, han desarrollado una red de proveedores para abastecer el restaurante con pescados y mariscos capturados de forma sostenible seleccionados a mano, así como carne de cerdo de la más alta calidad criado también de forma sostenible. Todo esto para aterrizar un menú de tipo ecléctico y simple. La extensa lista de cervezas internacionales, desarrollado por los socios Eduard Seitan y Terry Alexander, cuenta con más de cien ales, lagers, stouts y cidras en botella, doce de ellas disponibles en barril. Al igual que Blackbird and Avec, The Publican es una asociación de diseño del equipo ganador del premio James Beard, formado por Thomas Schlesser y su socio Donnie Madia.

Our menu will include the British pub classics fish and chips as well as bangers and mash. This may be the best meal I've ever had. Can't say enough about the service and the quality of the food. And you have to get the chicken! It's amazing!

We were recommended to Publican and we were not disappointed by the food. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully and portions were generous. Our server, although very nice, was a bit remiss first with our drinks and then with the food. We love to dine and of course don’t like eating in a rush, but we thought there were times that she might have forgotten to put our order in. Also, my husband was a bit surprised with the spirits list. He is a vodka drinker and there were two offerings, neither of which we ever heard of. I was very pleased with the bourbon selections. But We would absolutely go back, we really loved our meal.

Flavor bombs in every bite. Don’t overlook veggies which are outstanding and paired in complex tasty arrangements. Half portion of entrees enough for one diner and full portion best for sharing. Helpful friendly service make good recommendations and team approach guarantees prompt attention. I seek this spot out whenever in town.

Great brunch Athens republican. Food and service could not be faulted and he breakfast beer ‘mimosa’ went down surprisingly well.

Met friends for dinner to catch up. Our first time at Publican. The service and the food were quite good and I would give a good review except for the fact that we could not hear each other without shouting. Our server had to yell to tell us the evening specials. Really made it tough to enjoy the evening.
