   The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding. I had the wedge salad and single crab cake and it well-prepared and well-seasoned. The salad was not overdressed and had plenty of Bleu cheese. Will definitely dine there again the next time I’m in town.

   Ambience is nonexistent - tables are packed too close together in what feels like a dark, stuffy, unclean basement. The food isn’t bad but it’s most definitely not worth the prices. The service leaves much to be desired. This place aims for fine dining but ends up amongst the ranks of a mid level restaurant at best. Very disappointing.

   Christmas eve 23. We began our meal with French Onion Soup. When it was delivered, the attractive ceramic soup bowl was sitting atop a cast iron tray indicating it would probably be very hot -so to be careful. After two attempts to delve into the parmesan layered crust we discovered it was cold. We sent it away, ordered drinks and left.

   On our first visit to Oregon Grill last August to celebrate our 39th anniversary as a couple, it was a lovely experience. We were seated on “The Porch,” and two managers came by during the meal to cordially ask if everything was satisfactory. So, we decided to again make reservations, requesting “The Porch,” at O.G. to celebrate a birthday on December 23rd. Our server greeted us, noting that it was a birthday, saying “there will be a complimentary cocktail or dessert” for you. So far, so good; however, this time, a female manager (light blue sweater, blond hair) strolled along “The Porch” and asked every single table if their meal was satisfactory, except us; to the booths on each side of us, but skipping our table without a word or a glance. She did this four times during the course of the meal. Being a male couple, it made us feel totally unwelcome. We were nicely dressed in sports coats, well behaved diners, so the only reason we were skipped seemed to be that we were a gay couple. Our final tab was over $300, which is what we expected, but to top it all off, there was no mention again of any “complimentary cocktail or dessert.” The whole experience left us with a foul taste, and not from the food.

   Robert, Thank you for taking my call moments ago and I'm so very glad we were able to discuss your dining experience. As I explained over the phone, I assure you homophobia had absolutely nothing to do with your dining experience. I have zero tolerance personally or professionally for any bigotry. Nor does the Atlas Restaurant Group as a whole. After speaking with my management team, I can assure you there was no malice. What it was, was a glaring oversight and error in service and for that I'm very sorry. Thank you again for taking my call.    The food was delicious, a bit pricey though. It was the holiday season so very busy and noisy, our waitress had laryngitis so it was very hard to hear her. The busboy tossed leftovers that were supposed to be boxed so they did give us the entire meal to go! Overall a very enjoyable evening!

   Short ribs were tough. Gnocchi considering, they were made with ricotta were quite hard. Making Gnocchi using ricotta, the gnocchi should be fluffy not hard. The broccoli was supposed to have a spice to it and there was zero flavor. The pour for the wine is getting smaller each time I am at The Grill. There did not seem to be much alcohol in the drinks and more lemon than can be tolerated. Actually disappointed in the food.

    Waited 30 minutes before a waiter came over to ask for our drink order. Steak was undercooked. Desert was great. Not worth the $$$
