   We had a late Sunday roast with friends. Great attention to food, the waiters are super friendly. We keep coming back, highly recommended spot in Mile End.

   Been to the Morgan Arms a few times before and I can't fault it. Fantastic food, friendly service and very accommodating for our friend in a wheelchair. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly and the barman was great too, and had no hesitation serving us a Kahlua & Milk (The Sombrero) which often stumps other bar staff :-D Thanks, we will be returning again.

   Went for Mothering Sunday. We were seated at our table 15 minutes later than our reservation which we had to ask for. We arrived 10 minutes early and was told to sit at the small table to wait- fine- then the same woman told my husband that we couldn’t actually sit there?! But realised her mistake! Once seated and food ordered we waited 45 minutes for our starter- two soups and two lobster on crumpets - we had to ask how long our starters would be. Once we finished a lady cleared two dirty plates, leaving the other two. After 15 minutes we asked for them to be removed. We again had to ask how long for our mains. It was busy but no one managed our expectations and came forward and say things would be late coming out. No apologies, nothing. When we questioned the bill, we had 4x Mother’s Day offer, it didn’t look right. The host came back and said they have amended it but the bill is now £2 more?! We just needed to understand why the offers didn’t go in as 4 x but as only 1 x offer and the rest individually- as if it was off the a l’carte?! I found one lady quite lovely, she ordered us the Mother’s Day cocktails. The rest I’m sorry to say was a let down.

   Hi Chris, we apologise that your time spent with us on Mothers Day was anything less than exceptional. Expectations absolutely should have been managed more adequately, especially on such a busy day. All tables were to be informed of the wait times on food upon ordering - our apologies that you were not informed. It sounds as though you had multiple waitresses tending to your table so there was definitely some missed steps and miscommunication on our part.    Lovely pub, love the interiors and the staff is lovely. However they have a very small kitchen of two cooks which is meant to accommodate at least 60 people. As a result, we ordered our food at 1.30pm and the main courses arrived at 3pm. I know it was Mother’s Day and a busy day but 1,5 hours to get your food is outrageous. We were 4 adults and my 4y old son who, poor thing, was extremely hungry and started complaining a lot and I didn’t know what to do to help him! They really need to re-consider their kitchen situation

   Love this pub but disappointed with the food. We booked a table for Mother’s Day, great atmosphere, staff were brilliant really nice and very attentive. Our roast dinners were warm not hot and disappointed with the roast potato’s which had no flavour, the beef and other veg was tasty, the dinner just needed to be hotter.

    Usually the Morgan Arms is great but today they run out of most items on their menu and didn’t tell us that until after we had sat down and ordered drinks, so it was to late to leave.
