   The only choice for dinner was a buffet. It was OK. The main dining room is closed until summer 2024 due to needed construction. Service was good and we did get a window that we asked for.

   The hotel is under construction so it is not as impactful in appearance as it is normally. The dinner was a buffet and most of it was lukewarm. It was tasty and the staff were really friendly.

   The food was delicious!! Loved the ambience, even saw deer right out the window. Perfect.

   The hotel is undergoing renovations but they were still able to carry on the great ambiance.

   The Ahwahnee Hotel and dining facility is under renovation, so they got creative and served a buffet of all their main dishes off the menu; brilliant! Got to enjoy a bit of everything self serve. Loved the whole experience! As someone who uses a wheelchair for mobility, I was able to access everything.

   Lucy was awesome. Great food, beautiful view of the deer feeding in the meadow. Couldn't of asked for a better morning

   Disappointing. The regular dining hall was being renovated, and the temporary setup was underwhelming. The food was a buffet instead of the the normal menu and was mediocre.

   As the Ahwahnee Dining Room is being reconstructed, seating for the buffet is in the Solarium and the two side rooms off the great lounge. We were able to get a reservation at 6:30 and the host attempted to seat the two of us at a table that was practically in the aisle. We declined and waited for a suitable table, which took another 15 minutes. Our waitress was great, cheerful and friendly. The buffet had plenty of choices including shrimp, halibut, asparagus, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, green salad with white anchovies that could be added, crab cakes (undercooked) and some great brownies and chocolate. Whether seated in a proper place in the temporary location or in the Great Hall, it's always worth taking a meal at least once the Ahwahnee, even though the $59 dinner price seems high. The food is hit or miss but you can treat it as a tasting and go back for those things that taste good.

   The main dining room is closed - I did not know this since I booked on OpenTable. Also, the dinner was buffet only. Even though our reservation was at 6:15 - many of the buffet items were out and were not being refilled as they should have been. Both salads entrees were empty, the mashed potatoes were empty and only extreme rare prime rib. The food was mediocre at best. However, I love the Grand Ole Gal and hope management can pull it back together. I would not recommend dining here until operations resume as “normal”.

    Huge disappointment. The main dining room is closed for renovations. (We knew when we booked) so the choice is buffet or bar. We ate at the buffet, the only thing worse than the food was the apathetic service. I think the buffet was $59pp. We ate at the bar the next night . Strange bar menu , out of several of the limited menu. The pretzels were the highlight for sure. Very complacent staff. All that said, we were not there for the food. The views were amazing from the hotel.
