   Room was uncomfortably cold. Server was great! Food was ok for the price of a buffet.

   We go every fall to the Ahwahnee. This Restuarant was incredible prior to COVID. During COVID they switched to pick up box dinners. They eventually went to buffet of which they had when we visited in October 2023. Either they are understaffed or hurting financially, I do not know but the white linen dinner service is gone. So disappointed they haven’t gotten the Restuarant back to normal.

   It was a buffet and food was fantastic. Service was prompt and waiters were very attentive.

   Buffet style but choices and quality very good. Table service excellent. Prime rib and elk were very good. Other than buffet it was a great experience. Looking forward to table service again.

   It is a lovely setting although unfortunately the refurbishments meant we were not in the main hall (late Oct ‘23). This also meant there was no a la carte menu. The buffet options were good and gluten free options clearly marked. The food was very good and service was friendly and efficient.

   This restaurant serves overpriced and mediocre food. The service was decent but the hosts seating you are either clueless or apathetic. They act like they are doing you a favor by seating you while there are empty seats all around.

   Food was tasty but buffet item’s limited and not replenished. Several items were hardly warm. Service was excellent and ambiance beautiful.

   When I mase the reservation, they said it would be buffet food due to construction at the hotel. I thought because it was The Awahanee that it would be good buffet food. Save your money…it was not.
