   Third year attending the Teddy Bear Tea. First 2 years were great, but it seems to be declining. We went on Christmas Eve morning so maybe since it was the last day they were trying to wrap things up. May be our last year.

   Disappointed big time. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Didn’t understand why it wasn’t set up like a traditional tea - $90 a person inc kids (who got a Paddington bear). 4 finger sandwiches and an array of pastries. For four $72 service charge and then receipt tells you how much to tip! And with validation, parking still $15! Chado Tea House - several locations in LA area is a much better value

   The Teddy Bear Tea was absolutely incredible. I am so happy we got to experience it.

   The experience was not worth the cost. The tea options were limited, the food was mediocre, lacked appealing decoration, and wasn't tasty considering the price. Coupled with subpar service, I wouldn't recommend this as a holiday season activity

   Beautiful venue and wonderful ambiance, but the Christmas tea was a joke especially for the amount you pay. I could have gone to much cheaper tea room and get way more food and more bang for my buck. For $180 the plate of food served was an abomination.

   Teddy Bear Tea just isn't worth it anymore. Not sure who is in charge of dining but you aren't going to include a glass of champagne for adults anymore but still keep and raise prices? Puppet show isn't as good as it has been in the past. It didn't seem as busy as it used to be either so people are catching on. We have another reservation for tea coming up but going to cancel it. Either the Langham is hurting for money or just greedy.

   This review is for the Teddy Bear tea only. Perhaps it should have been obvious that this would not be a normal tea service due to the additional entertainment, however, I was disappointed that many of the elements that I associate with afternoon tea were not available to us. In this specific tea service, they do not leave an individual pot of tea so that you can refill at your leisure and declined to provide clotted cream or lemon curd. The tea felt "less than" with small omissions. The food was ok, however none of the food was outstanding or memorable. My final gripe was the seating. We had a non-permanent table that was unstable again lowering the quality of the experience. I understand the entertainment is a big part of the price and my daughter loved her bear, but at nearly $125 per person, I think the little things would have made a big difference at this level of hotel and expected experience.

   All the tradition of Christmas with excellent customer service and superb ambiance. The food was delightful and the staff gracious and attentive to a special dietary request. Everything you might want to make a very special multigenerational Christmas memory.
