   First visit to The Fleet. No special occasion, just dropped in with folks on Saturday lunch for a bite to eat. Really impressed. Nice ambience, welcoming staff and food cooked to order. Had mains and a dessert, all prepared fresh, and we all enjoyed our meals. We'll be back!

   We have been to the Fleet on many occasions and usually found it a good place to eat. However this time, the table that we booked through Open table had been lost on the system; thankfully they found it and the table had actually been reserved. There was one menu on the table and there were 6 of us. There was no wine list and we weren't offered one. The website quoted that from the Friday specials board, if you ordered fish, you could quote "I love fish" and you would get a free 175 ml glass of house wine. The waitress did not have a clue so had clearly not been informed. Two of the party had a very tasty dish from the specials menu, sea bass with risotto. However the portion size to be honest was tiny, there wasn't much risotto and the sea bass looked like it had been cut in half, mine was honestly about 4 x 2". I know the waitress was on her own but the pub was hardly busy. Very disappointing on this occasion.

   Lunch meal , the food was ok and good value, nice location by the river ! Would think nice in the summer by the river !!

   A venue we have visited often as the location is attractive and convenient for family gatherings from the north and south. We've enjoyed the pub in both winter and summer - the food is always reliable and table service great but this time the food was very slow out of the kitchen - and it wasn't busy. A bit of a shame as we have long journeys home but it won't stop us coming back.

   We had an excellent meal in relaxing atmosphere with friends. The Fleet is a venue we have used several times before to meet with friends as a half way mark, we live in West mids they live in Bristol.Would have been nice to have been warned about the Christmas Fare that afternoon as we did feel we were a little rushed from our table so that this could be set up.

   Really enjoyed our lunch of haddock, very tasty fish, spent the afternoon with my family, played snakes and ladders with the game provided, comfortable by the log fire. Easy to book a table online, overall a very nice experience.

   Had roast beef, which was a little fatty in places and dried out after a while, but otherwise very good. We had a table for two but could have done with a bit more room.

   Lovely pub, amazing building with stunning food. Good menu with lots of choice including pub classics. Nice choice of beer, all round great time had on a Saturday afternoon! We’ll be back!

    We went with friends in a party of 4 the steaks were excellent quality as was the chicken supreme Service was friendly and well worth a gratuity.Will go again as we live locally and have recommended the venue to visitors to Tewkesbury.
