   Had to chase the waiting staff to take any orders off us after being ignored for at least 30 mins. Food was good and arrived quickly. Good value for money too. Staff not friendly and rushed away before finishing taking our order.

   I've been there for lunch and the menu has a variety of creative options having something for every taste and hunger. Very friendly staff, great service. A little bit on the noise side during busy hours.

   Menu is quite basic and ok for a pretheatre meal. Staff pleasant and made sure we were out in time before a show

   A good place to go for something a bit different - quirky decor, good food and friendly service. Ideal for going to in your lunch hour - the food arrived incredibly quickly so there was no worry about whether we’d be back in time.

    I recently made a booking for 9 people at The Fable, and when the group turned up, the staff at the fable claimed the booking was for 5 people and that they did not have any tables available for a larger group. The woman refused to acknowledge the confirmation I had from The Fable clearly showing that it was for 9 people. After we managed to fit 9 chairs at a space made for 6 (with NO help from the staff), we were then ignored for more than 30 minutes without anyone even bothering to take our drink orders. When the food was eventually served, one dish was missing, which then turned up around 30 minutes late. There was barely an apology from the staff for the delayed food. While I have been there before and received excellent service, I can no longer recommend The Fable as a place to go.
