   The food and service for dinner were excellent. Sadly, the dining environment and noise level was not. As the main dining room is being moved or remodeled the upstairs lounge is now being utilized. The environment is extremely loud due to all of the hard surfaces and acoustics. This was our 20th wedding anniversary and we came back to the falls as this is where we spent our wedding night. We were staying at the lodge and had purchased the "Romance at the Falls" package almost 1 year ago. Wanting everything to be perfect I had made our dinner reservation last winter. Our biggest issue was with the location of the table we were given. We were seated at the table next to the pizza oven and secondary prep area which made for a hot environment and ringside seat at distracting ongoings. They knew it was our anniversary and had put some rose pedals on the table yet gave us the worst table in the setting. There were other nice tables for two either tucked away in alcoves or at least further away from this area that would have made for a really romantic meal. In general the lodge has lost the feel of it's earlier decades with it's transition to new ownership and remodeling. We won't be back. The older memories are better.

   We had guests visiting and it was the perfect place to go for a lovely lunch. Food was delicious and our waiter Issac was the best!

   The beautiful main restaurant at the Salish Lodge and Spa is closed for a massive remodeling. The "restaurant" is now in their space formally known as "The Attic". The food is excellent, the same as it was in the main restaurant. The service in the restaurant and the lodge is outstanding; a multitude of well-trained enthusiastic professionals. The prices are not low, but seemed reasonable for a first-rate meal. The place is redecorated and has a nice atmosphere, it doesn't match the atmosphere of the main restaurant. Staff thinks the main restaurant will reopen early in 2025.

    Not the same menu as they used to have (pre-pandemic). Steak frites features a fairly tough lean steak with tons of fries. One of our party had the chowder and said that it was very good. So, one out of four, liked the food.
