   The food and setting were nice. However, the service was very slow. More waitpersons would help. The room was chilly. The tea was cold before the food arrived.

   This was our first time at the Denver Tea Room. Some things were nice - the decor, the lovely china and overall ambiance. And some of the food was good — the scones and cream especially. But some was a little bland and disappointing. And the men in our group wanted to order off the beer list but they literally had zero beer on hand. When we tried to order extra scones, which was clearly offered as an option on the menu, the staff seemed like it was an out of the ordinary request. Overall a little disappointing but we still enjoyed ourselves.

   Interesting section of holiday tea flavors for Christmas tea, marzipan, vanilla cinnamon black, gingerbread green, candy cane black. We had them all and they were all good. Food was tasty-turkey shepherds pie, scones and a selection of sweets plus jam and clotted cream. Friendly, competent service. Relaxed yet festive ambiance.

   The service was excellent. The problem was all customers were served at one time and we did not have a choice of entries. Their menu stated choices and everyone was served a set menu. Our hot food was warm and the biscuit was not homemade. Too much money for a banquet style tea.

   This is a lovely place and people don't even know it is there. Nice Holiday Tea and they celebrate lots of other fun events. A perfect place to check into if you want to try something new. My daughter and I enjoyed it and the people were extremely nice.

   Four professional women from far-flung corners of Colorado had a great time visiting in a charming place, friendly and informed service, and good food. We will do it again.

   Myself and 3 ladies had High Tea on past Saturday. We had a very relaxing and pleasant time. Everything was great including the holiday decorations.

   Lovely place for tea! Great service; tasty food; and an enjoyable atmosphere. Free parking in back is a plus.

   Great destination for a "girls day out." Also ideal as a Mother-Daughter event. Molly was fabulous as host during the holiday weekend. Couldn't have asked for better. Scones and apricot jam were the favorite (thanks, Margo!), with the cucumber sandwiches as a close second. Loved it! Expect to see my sister back at your book club!
