   Five of us got together for dinner here. All of us had been here many time through the years. This time is was a subpar experience. The server was rushed and unfriendly. She was actually bussing her own table. The service was similar to what you might expect at Longhorn's, not the Capital Grille. Plates were picked up as each diner finished (or appeared finished). Why couldn't they all be picked up when we were ALL finished? During the dessert course, she picked up the plate and the diner still had two bites of cake left on her plate!! She packed it up and gave it to us in a box!!! We were only there 90 minutes, it's not like we were hogging a table. The food was good, but the experience sucked. Perhaps they are unable to staff appropriately since opening the restaurant in Dedham. All in all it was a disappointing evening. If a restaurant charges top notch prices, it's not unreasonable for the patrons to expect top notch service.

   I have dined here many times but unfortunately last night was not a great experience. When I checked in to be seated we were left waiting at the hostess stand for a long time. It was weird because there were many open tables. Once seated we ordered and it took an hour and 20 minutes for our entrees to arrive. It felt like the B team was managing night very different from usual experience.

   Great food and service. Extremely noisy environment - we could barely hear ourselves. The owners must do something about it - perhaps install an acoustic ceiling or wall covers. Also, we waited 5 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. No place to sit while waiting. My elderly companion did not enjoy that.

   Our dining experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, the table was festive and dressed for the occasion with Happy Birthday decor. From the front door staff, server and service team we were met with warm smiles and attention. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful.

   Been to a half dozen Capital Grilles and about 20-30 top steakhouses around the US and can say this ranks right up there in terms of service and food quality. We ordered 4 steaks, all different temperatures and they came out simultaneously, all cooked to perfection. My 10 ounce filet was melt in your mouth good and the flavor was much better than many filets, which can be tender but less flavor than some of the other cuts. Also, the side dishes are generous portions. We were four hungry guys and only ate about half of the 3 veggies and 1 mashed potato side we ordered. I took the rest home, along with half of my steak. Great service too, and there is parking, which makes it attractive for people who are driving.

    Our server, Danielle, as well as the Sous Chef, made my daughter's birthday even more memorable by taking the time to present her meal to her. She was very happy and per usual, everything was delicious.
