Very disappointed. We’ve been here a number of times before and enjoyed it. However this time it was really noisy and hot and my meal was undercooked and not very appetizing. When I advised the waitress she didn’t acknowledge it at all. I know she was extremely busy but there were eight of us and the meals were all over $50 each. Will think twice before going back.

My family and I always liked this restaurant, the food and the service. This time we were disappointed. Even the place was renovated, there were a lot of flies. When we pointed this to the waitress she said that she can't do anything and she will give us $5.0 if we kill the flies. Seriously? This kind of answer is not acceptable expecialy in a place where food is served. I can imagine if a Food inspector visit this place. I will recommend the management to contact the pest control. I won't go to this place in the near future. The food was not like before. The borscht was very greasy and the veggies undercooked.

Reasonably authentic, great setting in the summer however the 'wasps' on the patio were totally unacceptable. Patrons left periodically because of this, before finishing their meal, never a good thing. And it's a problem easily overcome at minimal cost to the owners.

The food is ok , but not as good as it used to be. Liver has changed how it’s served, also smaller portions. Schnitzel was a decent portion. I’ll eat there if I’m in Bragg Creek, but won’t make a special trip to go there.

The food was amazing. The menu had a varity of unique items to choose from. Service was very good. The beer and wine menu was extensive. Overall an excellent dining experience. Highly recommend them to my friends.

We were group of 4 adults and 2 children. We had to wait 45mins before we were asked for drinks and it was over an hour before got a drink. Waitress were rushed of their feet and one particular waitress was not having a good day and she came across abrupt /rude. We order Champaign and that arrived warm. It was an hour half before we got our food. If it wasn't for two hungry children we would have left the restaurant. We did not stay for the full meal and overall the experience was bad. Not planning to return there any time soon and we certainly would not be recommending them.

We dined on the patio. It was a beautiful evening and although the meals took a while to arrive, we still enjoyed the ambience of pine trees, nature etc. while waiting for dinner. As we left to pay our bill, the server was probably just trying to be efficient and collected the plates from another table, piled them onto ours and tipped their left over food onto our plates, some of which spilled (a small amount) onto my lap. We never said anything, but perhaps more education in this area could improve matters. Would definitely return to the restaurant, the staff are very courteous, food very good - the setting - lovely - just one of those things.

Took 40 minutes to get the meal after ordering. For one dish they substituted chicken for guinea fowl. Dumpling served with pork hocks was rancid. After speaking to both the manager and server, no apology, just offered a potato replacement. Didn’t take the rancid dumpling off the plate. Got through about half the pork hock but couldn’t get to the rest; was too hard to cut with a serrated knife. Full price of that meal was included on the bill. Bad experience.

We've been going to this restaurant for several years. Ownership has changed, including the menu. Current menu is more limited as to selection. However, whatever is ordered is very good.
