   lovely food - best fish pie Ive ever had!, great service, and no annoying 'rules and regulations' - you cant take the dog here, or remove your muddy boots (for walkers), or we finish serving at 2.30 - lovely staff who really seemed to care

   Very friendly pub, quite large with lots of different rooms, so not too noisy. Good food, they bought the children's food with the starter which was good. Pretty village and of course near 100 acre wood and Winne the Pooh's shop! Good Sunday after outing

   The food portions are large, so you won’t go hungry. There’s a good choice on the menu and everything we ordered was to the same high standard. The staff are friendly and attentive. There’s s relaxed ambience to the surroundings. We’ll definitely go there again!

   It was so lovely, very busy but the staff managed well in the circumstances and the chef was so lovely, he even showed us the desserts before we decided what we wanted. We all had a lovely evening and I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family!

   Really really lovely Sunday roast. Freshly cooked. The meat was amazing and the potatoes were to die for. We asked for extra cabbage as that was delicious too and the staff were sooo friendly. If I didn't live so far away this would be my weekend regular

   Staff were really friendly but a couple of dishes on the small menu were unavailable leaving limited choice! Not cheap but very nice, good size portions, arrived piping hot.
