It was my first time to this place although I'd heard about it for years...I should've come sooner. It has a terrific old LA vibe. My only advice is to not sit in the room where the kitchen door is as it can be noisy, staff talk loudly and it's not always very professional. Ask for a quieter table in a different part of the restaurant. The drinks are top notch and the bartender was superb.

Taylor's definitely lives up to their rating as one of the best steakhouses in Los Angeles! I came here with my boyfriend and his dad to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Our reservation was at 7:30 but we got there at 7:00 and they were able to seat us right away. Our waiter was really great. The whole staff was kind and attentive. The food was absolutely perfect and the wine was delicious. They even brought out a little sundae with a candle for my boyfriend. The next time my dad comes in town from Indiana I am definitely going to take him here because he would love it!

Dinner is always great before going to the Ahmanson theater. The béarnaise and bordelaise sauces are the best!

Taylor's is a look back. It opened in 1953, and it retains some of the charm of that era. Service is always great, steaks are terrific and reasonably priced.
