   Our server was very sweet, yet very unskilled and inattentive. She seemed nervous when interacting with us, and we waited long periods of time in between her coming to the table. She struggled with finding and opening the wine we selected. That said, the food quality was good, notably the appetizers.

   We had a table of 7 and had good service, but the food was mediocre at best. We have dined many times at T&T with mostly good results, but this specific dinner was very disappointing. The Wedge salads were not good, and several of the entree’s were very bland. Bummer!!

   We have eaten here for years. And this was the worst experience we’ve had. The drink was terrible, Aperol Sprtiz even after sending it back, appetizer came out 10 minutes after the meal and absolutely no one showed any interest. Poor showing today.

   Wedge salad was good; needed more dressing. Fish was dried out, had no sauce to help. Potatoes were good. Shrimp appetizer did not say tempura but was way over breaded.

    1st time visitors to this restaurant and they need to figure out if they are fine dining or highly expensive casual. We tried T&T based on the menu choices as well as being featured on a national TV program. Some patrons were well dressed like us and others came in tees & flip flops. Split the dining room and waterside bar if needed, but don't intermix the two. Dinner napkins were old bar towels and nobody seemed to mind the leashed dog that came wandering through the dining room half way through service. We asked for a new table for something closer to the water or at least not next to the kitchen in/out walkway, but were told no despite the restaurant being 80% empty while a table of 4 next to us was quickly reseated upon their request. Food was average but extremely overpriced for the atmosphere, service, and the overall experience versus other Charleston options. Highly disappointed.
