Tacombi Fonda Nolita is the Manhattan satellite of what was once a mobile restaurant serving tacos out of a converted VW van. These days, Tacombi Fonda Nolita offers truly authentic Mexican street tacos and other fare, using only locally-sourced, hormone- and additive-free ingredients. All of the corn and flour tortillas are made fresh on site and are available all day long. The menu at Tacombi Fonda Nolita is seasonal, changing frequently to reflect available ingredients. Those ingredients include heirloom beans, heritage meats, whole hogs and lamb, seasonal vegetables and organic eggs, sustainably harvested seafood and more. Locals love the homemade salsa, which is available to buy onsite.

Guacamole sauce was pretty good! The ambiance was very particular, it seems to be really at a feast in mexico! I suggest the crispy fish and mais y poblero plate.

Horrible service. Guava is great but that's pretty much it. My friend got sick from eating their tacos. Wouldn't visit again.

Whilst I wasn't expecting a fine dining experience I was unpleasantly surprised by the rudeness of the hostesses and servers. Brusque would be kind. Our waitress was quite sweet but didn't make up for the terrible impression left by the other staff. Ordered margarita up, no salt - came on the rocks with. Live in the neighborhood ( have done for 10 years ) won't be going again.

Busy place with anice outdoor feeling! Food is not fantastic, its good and tasty but not wow. The waiter was a bit tired and we had to wait quite some time for food and drinks. The host was very stressed and it was hard being noticed.
