Food was amazing, the portions were perfect size to be able to try multiple appetizers. Robert was fabulous, he ensured our cups were full and always had another appetizer to try on the way. I have an orange allergy and he checked with the chefs to make sure there wasn’t going to be any issues with anything I ordered. New favorite brunch spot!

SumoMaya – Birthday Brunch Review We visited SumoMaya to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a great time overall with a group of friends. The vibe was lively, the drinks were absolutely delicious, and our server was fantastic. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be working there, which made the experience more enjoyable. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The bottomless brunch concept was a bit confusing, more clarity upfront from the staff about how it works would go a long way, especially for first-time guests. It’s also worth noting that this kind of dining format doesn’t accommodate everyone equally. For individuals who’ve had bariatric surgery or have dietary limitations, having a more flexible pricing option would be more inclusive and fair, as they simply can’t take full advantage of the “bottomless” offerings. Another issue was the payment policy with large groups. We weren’t told until the end of the meal that the bill couldn’t be split and only 3 to 4 cards could be used. While this didn’t create a problem for our group, I can see how that might cause financial stress or logistical trouble for others. It would be helpful if this information was explained at the start. The music was quite loud, and when combined with the energy from other diners, it created a bit of sensory overload, making it hard to engage with people at our own table. Things got more relaxed and conversational once the restaurant started to clear out. In the end, while we did enjoy ourselves and appreciated the friendly service and tasty drinks, the experience felt a bit too pricey for what it was. We’re unsure if we’d return, but we’re glad we got to try it, especially with such great company.

Very inventive food with great service. We enjoyed brunch and all the food options, did the $45 all you can eat appetizer option. Very creative food, served fast, with a smile. Strongly recommend trying it.

Food is good and fun to get as much as you want. Bloody Mary’s were not very strong. Way, way, way too loud though. We won’t go back just because of that.
