   I ordered oysters and the first thing I was told was: let me check if we have any. But like the happy hour is about the oysters. Fast forward there was oyster even tough they were the most tasteless oysters I have ever had. I do not recommend is not worth the money and vibes are off

   Been wanting to visit for a couple of years after I saw it on social media. Visited today, Easter Sunday, and opted for the bottomless roast…£45 pp or £60 pp (you can order 2 dishes pp from starters and order them & more again plus roast chicken, lamb or veg with a supplement for beef with all the trimmings and again you can order more plus desserts) with a choice of unlimited white or red wine or Prosecco or cosmopolitan and you can’t mix the drinks. Food, on the whole, was just ok not great. The salmon starter arrived without bread so we paid extra for that. The chicken & veg broth was good though. The lamb roast was underwhelming and the chicken was bland. The menu was pretty limited. However, service was great especially from a foreign lady who was very sweet and friendly. Wouldn’t rush back in a hurry. One visit is enough.

   Good food but clueless otherwise and a major rip off joint. They advertised oysters at £1 at the time we dined but charged me £23 for 6 and expected me to eat them with a teaspoon!!! They charge £69 for a bottle of soave (max £8.50 from Tesco). Bill came and they’d added 12.5% service charge without comment and then expected additional tip of up to 20% on top!!! Talented violinist has to play on top of cheesy pop played by the resident DJ. Really enjoyed the food but the place feels like a machine for fleecing tourists.

   Lovely environment with good food and wonderful entertainment. Noise levels are high with competing music from next door restaurants. Service a bit slow but very busy and service was stretched on the night we visited.

   Went with quite a large party and i am glad i choise this venue. They catered for us all very well. Everything was great, food its the finest and service is a 5stars. Cheerful chappie served us and He did a good job. We would go back there again.

   We have often passed this restaurant by without paying it much attention. This time we booked it and words fail me to describe how good this venue is. The food was amazingly. I had the seafood risotto which I couldn't believe how great it was. The portions are very generous at a very reasonable price. I can also recommend the desserts. Front of house manager was so entertaining he made the whole experience fantastic. Don't know why we haven't been there before but we will certainly be going back.

    All the meals are very good and tasty, great portion size and well presented. A great selection of wine as well. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and all the staff are friendly, jolly and courteous all of the time. I can highly recommend visiting Smith’s even if it is just for a drink and can't wait until our return in May.
