Seven Glaciers, galardonado con el AAA Four Diamond, está ubicado en el Alyeska Resort, en la cima de una montaña. Seven Glaciers is an amazing venue. Staff were personable but it seemed that everything was a bit slow for a high end restaurant, especially given that the restaurant did not seem that busy. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. Water service was quick but it took our server 15 minutes to take our drink order and another 15-20, to get our cocktails. After that, our orders were served in a borderline slow amount time. The quality of our meal was excellent, which helped negate the slowness of the service.

The food was good but not outstanding as was expected for the price. The view was good but was limited due to the forest fires obstructing the surrounding mountains and glaciers. The service was mediocre at best. Our server didn’t seem interested in providing good customer service. That made the overall experience disappointing. We would go back to give it another chance.

Didn’t have the wine we wanted from the menu.took quite a while to get the bottle to the table. The food was amazing the dessert was OK. The chocolates that they bought with the bill were the better than the desert. Overall it was an amazing meal. We had four different entrées that were well received by all. The service was adequate.

With all the awards and being a 4 star restaurant, I must be wrong. But, I share the same view as many others over breakfast discussing the menu and the actually taste. Neither holds up to my experience at true Michelin Rated and Four Star Restaurants that I have had the pleasure to enjoy in the past. The menu seems out of date and not on trend with current food offerings that are being created by many locally owned less expensive restaurants scattered throughout the US. Also, there are several small details that mean a lot that are worn out and need to be replaced in order to maintain a 4 star restaurant. Examples: flatware is etched from wear and have lost their shine, table linens are worn and of the damask pattern, which is very dated, the place settings are not set up like a true four star restaurant should be, nor is the removal and replace techniques used by the staff. It is not properly executed for the true 4 star dining experience. Total for four, three drinks: $380. Plus 20% tip.

Unbeatable views. Excellent food prepared w/o salty gloppy sauces. Good beer and wine offerings. Slow service, but what’s the rush?

Perfect day, perfect meal, and perfect atmosphere. Well worth the visit. Service was incredible. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The filet mignon was the best I’ve ever had. Can’t beat the view anywhere. Definitely a place to put on your bucket list.
