Our seasonal menus feature ingredients at their peak of freshness, oak-fire grilled or brick oven roasted (without a fryer in sight) to be naturally lighter and more flavorful.     Season's 52 at Roosevelt Field is an excellent restaurant. They have a variety of "gluten-sensitive" offerings. The flatbread starters are distinctive--at least for a person with an allergy to gluten. The ambience is generally fine. I generally prefer very quiet restaurants. Indeed, I would prefer a room for only my party. However, I am able to hear other people in a party of four with little difficulty in the this restaurant.

    We were a party of 7 and were at our table for 20 minutes (we timed) before waitress took our drink order. We went up to host prior and advised still waiting. After placing order, drinks came after another 15 minutes. Restaurant was not busy and we even asked our waitress if she was understaffed to which she replied no. Very disappointing service.
