Feast on steak, fresh seafood and more at Seared. Its casual setting features exposed brick walls, as well as an open kitchen where guests can view their meals being prepared. Executive Chef Joe O'Donnell with help from his team creates dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. An appetizer of filet skewers with saffron rice, deviled eggs or bone marrow with confit of garlic and grilled bread will tantalize the taste buds at Seared. Guests can try an entree of shrimps and grits, prime rib with horseradish or a hearty cheeseburger with Monterey jack cheese and a slab of bacon. Seared has a full bar that serves specialty cocktails, as well as Petaluma local beer and wine selections. It features the River Room for private functions and for hosting in-house events like paint night or watching playoff games. This restaurant has happy hour and welcomes reservations.

Great food for a fair price. Nice size meals that are excellently prepared. The food choices are excellent. Very classy place. Could improve a little on the local Wine list.

First we were 1/2 hr. late due to traffic and Ken, was so kind to hold our table for us! The food was a wonderful find! My hanger steak was out of this world! tender and the sauce was to die for! My son had the gnocchi and it was delicious also. My husband enjoyed his rib eye but felt it was a little too "grisly" for his taste. The service was outstanding! We also tried the mac& cheese and it was creamy and delicious as well as the sauted mushrooms. We will be back!

The food was all excellent and the service was wonderful! Silvia, was our server and she was very attentive and on top of things!! very enjoyable meal!

This was our second visit and we took what we learned and applied it on this visit. During our first visit, we listened to our stomachs and over ordered. The food was superb on that visit and again on this visit. The brussel sprouts are not to be missed. The beef is tender and flavorful. The wine list is fine and the range and depth of the menu means that there is something there for everyone. Our server was a little over the top on this visit which was OK. We'll be back for sure... A great addition to the wonderful Petaluma food scene.

My husband and I went to Seared to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. He was craving a steak, and our friend recommended Seared as the best steak in town "no question." We rarely get out, so this was a real treat, and it didn't disappoint. My filet with blue cheese butter and mashed potatoes was to die for. For an appetizer, two cocktails, two entrees, a side, and two desserts plus tip, we spent $140. Not an inexpensive meal, but worth it for a special occasion.

Food was great. Most items we selected were on the spicy side but the it made the dishes unique. I would go back again.

The decor is good, the food great, and the service is also very good. My only problem is that the noise level is high enough that it's challenging to converse. Seems to be in vogue to create restaurants with nothing to absorb sound - the noise level scale calls it energetic, not irritating. Guess I'm turning into an old fogey.
