   Great selection for Easter brunch. Our dishes were delicious. They had the Easter bunny for the kids, very nice touch.

   I went with 4 people for their Easter brunch. Well over an hour wait, and we finally received our food. The food was tasty but some plates obviously sat under warmers. The coffee was not hot and guests’ drinks were mediocre. The service was extremely slow and short staffed. For the amount of money paid out, we could have gone somewhere more upscale. We were very disappointed.

   We had another lovely meal at Scratch. The cocktails were very good, the duck dumplings wonderful, and the short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth. We had those with a side of cornbread. A lovely way to spend the time before our play.

   It was a pleasant experience. Quiet atmosphere, great food. We shared the Duck potstickers, my wife had the Lamb Ragu and I devoured the Prime Rib, which is only served Friday and Saturday nights. It was an excellent cut of meat. Only awkward moment: I had to ask for a steak knife...

   The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice as usual but the food was not great. Overcooked small pieces of chicken, overcooked pasta was dry because not enough sauce. I’ll give it another try because I’ve had excellent food in the past especially for brunch.

   Scratch is a lovely place to have brunch on a Sunday morning. The food was delicious and the serivce was great.

   First visit to Scratch in Mountain View and overall I rate it a solid 4 all around. Located in upbeat and trendy Castro Street. Our party of three enjoyed good food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was courteous and attentive. We endulged in the Fried Chicken with Baked Beans and delicious Cornbread. Accompanied with a side order of Macaroni and Cheese. We also ordered The Seafood Ciopinno and a gourmet style Hamburger with Bacon and a Side Salad with a Creamy Vinaigrette. I started my meal with a Single Malt Whiskey that paired wonderfully wth my Bacon Burger! Dressy Casual I believe to be suitable attire. The bill for the dinner and drinks wasn't too bad. Would definitely return

    Visited on Valentine’s Day and was not disappointed. Cocktails at the bar, Gin Blossom and an Old Fashioned. The barman made a wonderful recommendation for a rye whisky. Dinner after was Halibut and Lamb Ragu. My wife said the halibut was cooked perfectly. My lamb ragu was very tasty. Staff were very attentive throughout. We have supported Scratch a lot since lockdown, possibly the nicest venue on Castro if you like a stylish venue with good food and quality drinks. Ambiance can suffer though if it is quiet.
