   Second visit in two weeks, really fantastic experience both times. Great salads, the twice baked potato and the loaded baked potato or just exceptional examples of how good a giant potato can be, the cowboy ribeye is beautifully cooked and a great piece of meat. Service is great, Kudos to Marty for warm and friendly service. High on my list of the best places to go in St. Louis for steak.

   Food was perfect, steaks done to perfection. Our server was not only great at his job but he was charming as well.

   Restaurant is very loud. If you’re looking for a romantic experience, probably not advisable to go on a weekend. Noticed they had a patio. Definitely worth looking into that, weather permitting. The food was good. The service started off very slow. I believe this was due to the larger parties of four and six. As there were only two of us, we didn’t get as much attention as the larger parties initially, but the service improved eventually . We probably set for 15 minutes before server came over to take our drink order and then the drink order took a long time.  Would probably give it another try, but I can’t say we left impressed.

   The food was absolutely amazing. Chef Greg and his team cooked everything to perfection. The service was fantastic and the manager and staff was outstanding. I can’t believe I waited so long to dine here for the first time. So good!

   Always the best experience. Sit in the bar if you can. Very quaint space and the music is great. Our server Medinah was awesome! Had the strip with blue cheese and brandy peppercorn sauce. Great steak for the price. Sam’s is the place in STL for steak.

   This was my first time visiting. The ambiance is warm and comfortable and the service was outstanding. I ordered the cowboy ribeye with whipped sweet potatoes and a salad. My wife ordered the salmon with a baked potato and a salad. To be perfectly honest, it was not a very good cut of meat. There was quite a bit of fat in it and it was more on the medium rare side than it was medium. My wife’s salmon was a pretty small portion. Overall we enjoyed our time there. However, I don’t feel that it is a good value for the meals we were served.

   What a great experience. We had a drink at the bar while waiting (we showed up early for that purpose but our reservation was ready on time) and the bartender, Baden, was great. We were greeted promptly and he made an excellent dirty martini. Upon moving to our table, Medina continued the excellent service. She made wonderful suggestions and offered easy, fun conversation that complemented the excellent food. The whole staff was very friendly and attentive and we can’t wait to return!

    Chef Greg never disappoints! Our steaks were delicious! Always a fun time at Sam's Steakhouse!
