Salt has a beautiful atmosphere, and while it was busy we didn't find it too loud. The kids portions were reasonable, but still over priced for what they receive. $24 for a cup of pasta is high even for the Ritz. The adult meals were good, our tenderloins were cooked as requested, however portions are very small. The mashed potato was one spoonful spread at the bottom- which is considered a garnish, not a side when in that amount. Service was very slow, but our waitress was accommodating. It was almost 30 minutes to take our meal order (with reservations) which we found a little off putting. The dessert was delicious and made our special occasion memorable.

We had the best meal we’ve had here! Start to finish it was amazing. Was a bit loud for a fine dining establishment but otherwise all was perfect!

If you're looking for a very special experience, unique flavors, attention to detail, beautiful setting, outstanding service, SALT is it! It's not your ordinary restaurant. It's not inexpensive but it's special! The live instrumental music was relaxing, beautiful, and just loud enough. Itches our Anniversary and they are sure to make it special with little touches that celebrate you! ♡

The cottontail tea was a huge let down. Not a good value at all.

The staff was very friendly but expect to spend a lot of money for not that much food. They have a very small menu of options. I thought the food didn’t have much flavor for what the price was. My husband thought the wagyu was amazing but I wanted more flavor to it, so I guess it depends on different people’s preferences.

I’ve eaten here many times over the past 20 years or so spanning multiple chefs. The one constant is the amazing ocean views which as usual did not disappoint. This was my first visit under the new chef who I’m told has been there for @3 years. Sadly the menu failed to excite me. The appetizers which had always been my favorite were mundane and I wound up ordering the oysters which were great but a bail out order. Old favorites like meticulously prepared tuna carpaccio were replaced with a generic tuna/avacado tar tar. My wife ordered the octopus and it was overcooked and over-salted. I was talked into the wagyu ribeye medium rare for dinner . It came out medium+. They were about to pour essentially a big tub of hollandaise on top before I stopped them. The steak itself was just very average. I frankly make better ribeye at home. It came with mushrooms which were the highlight but only a few (I asked for more a they brought me some). My wife ordered lamb medium-rare. It came out medium-well and she had to send it back. The second preparation was perfect but again, the lamb was not as good as you would make at home - bland, no spices - and the mint sauce they planned to pour over it just wasn’t good - we both sampled it on the side. The chocolate soufflé was solid. Wine list was good but not as good as prior years. Service was outstanding. This is still one of my favorite restaurants for the overall experience and I’m sure it will change again for the better.
