   Went for a 30th birthday based on the extensive whiskey selection. The birthday person was ecstatic! The food far exceeded my expectations... would go again in a heartbeat. The only negative was that he asked for two beers off their list and they were out of them both.

   Second time going to Saloon, and it was just as amazing as the first time. Our server, Joe, was pleasant and provided excellent service. It was super loud, but also a Saturday night so expected. Definitely going back.

   Friendly service, got a little slow when business started rolling in. Very good beer selection with thoughtfully curated drafts readily available. Small bite options were a little problematic as one of our dining party has celiac disease and another keeps kosher, limiting our options, but we had enough and were satisfied with what we had. Noise level made conversation a little challenging, and the low-lit ambiance makes for an atmospheric hangout, but not necessarily the easiest place to read a menu.

   We have been to Saloon several times, and it's usually pretty good (especially the cocktails), but variable in food quality. We had an enjoyable experience this time and there was nothing wrong the food, but we couldn't help noticing that it's awfully easy to run up a bill that's more than when we get a great meal at a fine dining restaurant.

   Clean, friendly restaurant. I like the speakeasy feel, but the place is a little darkly lit. Can use some candles on the table or something like that. Romantic, though, that's a plus.

   Excellent service! I called a few moments ahead of my reservation, asking if I could push it back 30 minutes, they were entirely able to accommodate me and very nice, very understanding about it.

    Excellent food and atmosphere. Terrific booze selection. Great service. Menu interesting but not extensive. Well worth a repeat.
