Came in for Sunday dinner with the family we always have the family style fajita to share. It has great homemade carnitas, shrimp, steak and chicken. It has refilleable sides and if u are a corn cake lover this is for you. The server was great made us feel right at home.

I’ve been to this family-owned restaurant several times and it has always been a wonderful experience. The food and drinks are delicious. The service is outstanding. The ambiance is welcoming and the decor is lovely. I’ve met two of the three owners, Johanna and Karmin and they are the best. I am a VIP now lol. I bring someone new every time I come to introduce them to this awesome establishment so they can then come back for more and recommend it to their friends and family.

The food was just as good as we remembered. The best part of the experience was our waiter, Paco. He’s a gem. He’s a character. He will make you laugh. He also makes a mean guacamole. Make sure to ask for him when you come here.

Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy. Homemade house guacamole, or one of the many soup or salad options, make for a great starter. The entree options are plentiful. Casa Vega serves everything from traditional chicken mole, a plethora of burrito options, combination plates and specialty options, such as carne chile Colorade and the signature Casa Vega molcajete. Came in this past Sunday for Easter Brunch and had such a great experience! We made a reservation and despite showing up early, they sat us right away! The Sunday brunch is amazing and such a great value! So many options to choose from! Great omelettes,enchiladas, seafood, tacos, prime rib and not to mention the desserts! It will take a few more visits to be able to try all the amazing food! The staff was so on point! Jose was our server who made sure to check in on us and keep the mimosos flowing! Joseph was bringing food to the buffet area and was so friendly and helpful! Pointing out ALL the different food options! Go check them out! You will love it! 😋

Service was great but appetizer and delivery of main course were to close. Table size is small for the dishes they use. Serving of food is great but if you are planning to have a table of two better skip the appetizer and go into the main meal. The size table can’t handle drinks plates silverware main plates not food all together. Ask for a booth for a table of two
