Mark and Mary Shapley began this dining tradition in 1985 and soon became one of the premier restaurants in the state. After taking a break to raise their two girls, they have returned with the same great food and service everyone came to know. Great steaks and seafood along with their famous tamales are still the main attraction along with an impressive bar and wine offerings. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary here and we enjoyed every bit of our experience/food! The service was top notch- Jason and Dante! The kitchen even came out with a small complimentary anniversary cheesecake! Wine selection is unmatched! Will definitely be returning!

The ENTIRE meal was amazing! Such a great deal for Easter Sunday! We could eat this every Sunday! Feather & her staff are ALWAYS incredible! They go above and beyond in both service and quality of food! AMAZING!!

This was truly a remarkable experience. I arrived right at the time of my reservation, which was the last seating before they closed. They treated me like I had many hours before they closed!! They never rushed me and even waited to ensure I was comfortable with my selections. Abby (I hope that’s the correct name I remember) was a gem!! She provided excellent service with just the right touch of attention. The food was remarkable as always—exactly what I expect from Morton’s. They also knew that I am a regular to the chain, providing service based specifically on my needs. I would recommend them highly and certainly plan on being a regular to this location.

There were issues with our table assignment and we waited a while before ever being tended to. The general manager actually ended up waiting on our table for more than half of the time before our waitress came. He def made up for it and was extremely kind and tentative. Food was delicious. Highly highly recommend Field’s. Pricy but so worth it.

Three of us got the Asian Chicken Salad. The chicken was so tender & batter was perfect. One had chicken & dumplings & was very pleased. We’ll be back for lunch again next time we’re in Jackson! Oh, and Deja was a very attentive server ❤️
