From the heart of Michelin-starred Chef/Owner Johnny Curiel comes Alteño. Curiel’s newest creation pays homage to his Jaliscan Highland roots and traditions, incorporating a mix of heritage flavors and rustic preparations that spotlight the cuisine and culture of the iconic Los Altos de Jalisco. The spirit of Johnny’s restaurateur father, the original Alteño, is felt in the very soul of the restaurant.

The campestre influence woven throughout Alteño is inspired by Johnny’s childhood spent in the mountainous region of Los Altos, known for its rolling hills, historic colonial architecture, and wild, untamed land. Chef Johnny and his partner and wife, Kasie, developed the beverage program balancing top-shelf, native Mexican flavors and agave spirits like raicilla and mezcal, with classic cocktails and a wine list that includes a selection of Mexican, European and American wines overseen by Alteño’s in-house sommelier.

The award-winning Uchi, which translated from Japanese means “home,” was first opened in Austin, Texas by James Beard Award winner Chef Tyson Cole. Since then, Cole’s signature non-traditional take on Japanese cuisine has been warmly received by visitors from across the country and around the globe. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

MAKfam is primarily a walk-in restaurant that offers limited reservations for weekday lunches only. The majority of our tables are open for walk-ins – please come in even if you don’t see availability at your preferred time.

MAKfam is a love letter to the owners' Chinese American roots, both having been raised by immigrant families who worked in restaurants. It began as a pop-up in NYC & NJ, then evolved as a stall in a Denver food hall. MAKfam is now an elevated counter-service restaurant in the Baker neighborhood serving award-winning Chinese food, natural wines, & craft cocktails. Crab Rangoons & hand-folded chicken & chive potstickers are inspired by Chinatown favorites, made with particular care & big flavor. Chicken wings with tingly málà seasoning & corned beef fried rice offer a familiar-yet inventive take on classics.

MAKfam is a 2024 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand winner & Chef Kenneth Wan is the Semi Finalist in the 2024 Emerging Chef category of the James Beard Foundation.

Ocupa un edificio histórico victoriano de 1894 que otras veces fue un burdel, un peepshow y un videoclub para adultos. En la actualidad, este restaurante, bar y espacio para conciertos, presenta un estilo de cabaret, en homenaje al pasado del edificio y a su musa, Ophelia. Asimismo, de acuerdo con la tradición del Edible Beats, el establecimiento prepara platos deliciosos, elaborados con alimentos de producción sostenible.
