Welcome! Our PATIO and PUB are first come, first served basis, reservations are only for our dining room. Walk-ins are welcomed. Waitlist upon arrival. Reservations are for our DINING ROOM ONLY.
We are a family owned and operated restaurant locate in beautiful downtown Wayzata, MN. McCormick's Pub and Restaurant features a cozy pub and dining areas, steeped in the Irish tradition of warm hospitality. We offer a unique guest experience that blends the best of traditional Irish pub fare, as well as Continental and Nouveau International cuisine that is made entirely from scratch by Chef Quin Meyer and team.

This restaurant is a true gem. The service is excellent, the food is great, and it’s just one super nice place to dine. We ate outside tonight and it was perfect. They are always very accommodating and always greet you with a smile. Just can’t say enough good about this restaurant and the people that work and run it.

Service was a bit slow and it was quite noisy but both were understandable because we were sitting in the very busy bar area during the Wild game. (Go Wild!) The food was excellent. Walleye for two of us and a turkey and cranberry sandwich for the third. The broccoli and loaded baked potato that came with the walleye dinner were delicious, as well. We will definitely return.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. The dinner was very good, service was very prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Would highly recommend.

If you're curious about our name, it comes from the legend of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. As the story goes, Babe had an appetite as big as Bunyan himself and is rumored to have eaten 30 bales of hay a day.

Like our restaurant's big blue spirit animal, we're a pack of people that lives to eat and drink. We're endlessly in love with the Midwest and its connection to seasonal ingredients grown close to home. It's what inspires our menu and our team. Hopkins is a great place for good food and drink. We enjoyed our happy hour drinks and app specials. The half wedge was large enough for 2 and very good, although a bit salty. The baked white fish special was excellent. I would advise against ordering the Bol du Nord. Its listed as fried walleye with a mushroom cream sauce, spinach and wild rice medley. I expected the walleye on a plate with a cream sauce, side of sauteed spinach and wild rice medley. What was delivered was a bowl of rice with a few spinach leaves and about 1.5 cups of cream just poured over it. It was thin rice soup with the fried fish stuck in it. Way too much cream. Either the cook is unfamiliar with a cream sauce or he ran out of time.
