La Cappella is an open air restaurant that overlooks the city of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. Serves contemporary Italian and International cuisine reveling in violin music, in an elegant but informal ambience. A full bar and wine list are also available. House specialty cocktails take advantage of local fruits, herbs, and spices to create a uniquely enticing selection.

*RESERVATION REQUIRED. Tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and we reserve the right to allocate specific tables. No kids allowed. No pets allowed. Dress code: formal-casual. Excessive or disruptive noise that may affect the dining experience of other guests is prohibited. All reservations have a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes.*

The grounds are beautiful. Very Tahitian Service was impeccable Ordered the pulpo banderillas, mussels, and the rib eye with grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious. Got free dessert for my husband’s birthday also very good. Highly recommended

During the low season (from July 23rd to October 13th), we operate with 2 service times: 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and we close at 4:00 PM.

High season hours (starting October 15th) will be 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, with closing time at 5:00 PM.

To make a reservation, the system requires a non-refundable prepayment of $120 pesos per person for round-trip boat transportation. This amount is not refundable in case of cancellations or no-shows. If you hike in or arrive by your own boat, this payment will serve as a deposit and will be deducted from your bill on the day of your visit.

By making a reservation, you acknowledge and accept our reservation policies. Please visit our website for more information.

Please note; our weather and waves can change on a moment's notice. We may have to cancel the water taxi and close the restaurant if the waves are too high. This only happens occasionally but if we do you will receive a text on the phone number you leave with open table.

The restaurant was beautiful. The view was stunning. Food was excellent. My wife had the fish in a cream sauce and I had a ribeye steak. Everything was really good. The only thing I would changed is how I wanted my steak. I chose Medium rare and received rare. Usually I order just Medium but I had read other reviews and bass on their results I went with Medium a rare thinking it would have been over cooked a little. Should have stuck to my way instead. Shame on me!

We had a wonderful sunset dinner and were seated at an ocean front table as requested in our reservation. We had the seabass and the coconut shrimp with the blue shrimp and both dishes were delicious. Service was excellent, attentive and very friendly/gracious. This is a great spot to get good food with beautiful views!

The ribeye had tons of fat on it. The salmon was good. Nice saxophone player but music was way too loud. View was great.
