I had a great experience at Kokoroya in Maroubra—it's always a go-to for me. The sushi is super fresh, the service is consistently warm and friendly, and I love the relaxed, family-friendly vibe. Always a pleasure to dine there!

Everything was great except we (2 ladies) were stood out front for about 10-15 mins waiting to be greeted so we could tell the guy we had a reservation. He saw us but kept his back to us and didnt greet us but greeted every man that approached him including my partner who came late and went up to him and asked what was going on, so that was kind of offputting.

Been going to Pizza Riccardo for years and keep going back because of the food. With recently new owners, some changes have happened, including to the signature pizza dough. It’s still good but not as tasty as before. The hours seem better now. Service staff are very friendly but the timing of food delivery seems a bit off (we got our mains before the appetisers).
